Sort of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz - one of my favorite stories. When Dorothy asked the Good Witch why she didn't tell her sooner that she could've gone home all along by clicking her heels together 3 times, the Good Witch replied, "You wouldn't have believed me . . ."
